As an SR44ian male with a troubled past, Axel finds it difficult to adjust to his new home in the Six Saviors' silo. Met with utter disdain and palpable fear, his attention is always drawn to the one person he's been ordered to stay away from, but no matter how hard he tries, it seems fate has other plans.
Eden was blessed with the ability to decipher auras, but when she meets the brooding Axel, she realizes he cannot be read. Not easily discouraged, she makes it her mission to find out why, oblivious to the potential danger that lies ahead for both of them.
As their clandestine relationship unfolds, it becomes more and more difficult to maintain their secret. When Eden's father realizes that Axel has ignored his threats, he makes good on his promise to do away with him by any means necessary.
With near-fatal injuries and intense feelings for the forbidden Eden, Axel is banished from the silo. In a twist of events leading Eden to be caught up in surprise Colonist activity, everyone in the silo depends on Axel to save her.
Will his mission to rescue her be successful, or will it ultimately lead to both their deaths?
