Best Book on Shamanism
i enjoyed the book and felt like it was the most practical, simple and honest book on shamanism so far that I have read. Good narrator. A sober and hopeful book from people with tons of knowledge and experience. I recommend this to anyone who is interested and wants to take a step forward.

awesome working book for shamanism
this was a wonderful book for listening to and will be a great resource for my practice and study of shamanism.
I enjoyed the book so much I have ordered additional books by this author.
the exercises are great for expanding ones shamanistic experiences.

Really loved that narrator!
Leslie Howard did an amazing job narrating this book. This is my favorite subject matter, but sometimes the authors get a narrator that isn't quite the easiest on the ears. This narrator is just lovely. Her voice is soft, calm and reassuring and just a joy to listen to. Shamanism can be a heavy subject for some, but she makes it a delightful journey!
The subject matter itself is also great! I started this journey about 25 years ago, but it's been a while since I've seen my shamanic friends. This book takes me back to those journey times and helps me to re-member who I am and why I am here.

Loved every minute of it.
The narration by Leslie Howard is absolutely beautiful. Her voice is so soothing, it just draws you in so deeply to the story being told. Highly highly recommended for anyone who is curious to know more about what shamanism is.

The importance of Connecting with Spirit
Incredible book! This was one of those books that answered all the questions I had about connecting with spirit through rituals, ceremonies and shamanic journeying. It explained everything in great detail and I enjoyed how there were prompts at the end of the chapters to do the work you just learned.
I am now a huge fan of Sandra Ingerman and will be seeing out all of her work! Thank you for this great book! After reading it, I feel empowered to continue connecting with spirit. ✨

Fantastic read!
This book is an amazingly comprehensive, yet succinct summary of my 6 years of in depth study on a shamanic path. I think that this book is both a great refresher for those experienced on the shamanic path, as well as for those individuals interested in learning what shamanism is about and how it can enrich their lives.

A wonderful introduction!
This book, while mostly an intellectual look into Shamanism, will still give the reader a great introduction to the many facets of a worldview that is both ecumenical and empowering for life in the 21st century. There are plenty of gems throughout that are thought provoking and made me reflect and connect with my deeper spiritual notions of my life and living.
