Research Based Ideas For Life Balance

I deeply appreciated Tom Rath's research based approach to becoming a fully charged person. I have tried to live and teach life balance for years. In this short book you are exposed to some fascinating insights.
I especially liked his thought that the pursuit of happiness is not as healthy as the pursuit of meaning.

A Perfect Portion

A great little book filled with practical nuggets of life wisdom to help energize your daily experience. I appreciate the fact that Tom didn't repeat himself 2 or 3 times just to make this more of a full length book like most self-help authors do.

This was easily digestible content that I suspect would benefit anyone that gave it a listen (or read). One of the few books I may go ahead and purchase in print to revisit some of the content later.

Among other topics in the book, Tom discusses sleep habits. This one small piece of the overall content has made a significant improvement to my own energy, mood, and productivity.

Really a great listen!

First review of a book.

Great book with lots of good information to start leading a more meaningful life! I would recommend this book to anyone looking to find their additional energy that they are missing in their lives.

Practical and actionable. :)

It was very easy to start applying in my own life. The performance wasn't too over the top and so it was easy to listen to.

Uplifting Motivation

The ideas in the book make you think "aha, that is something I should be doing" and Tom Rath provides positive stories for anyone to find motivation to change things in their life. Solid narration and overall quality.

Easy and practical ideas

All ideas are easy and doable. Tom Rath leads reader to see life and work from a different angle. Most of us are educated to get as much as possible for ourselves and hardly consider others' benefit. Tom gave us a new perspective of growing ourselves through helping others.
I am on audio book and narrative by Rick is charm like a friend sharing his experience making the audio very enjoyable.
I highly recommend this 2015 best seller and will go with other books by Tom.

Some Good Nuggets in Here

After reading Eat, Move, Sleep I had to read another of good works since his advice from that book has helped me on my journey. This is another good installment that builds on that work. I found some good nuggets in here as well. My only complaint would be specifically about the performance, it’s not that it was terrible, it just seemed as though he was a drone at times. Maybe he was, and then I’d say, Fantastic! Because he had me convinced he was a human.

This is a super inspirational book

I loved this book and the true story about the author in the beginning of the book is worth the book. When you hear what the author goes through on a daily basis it'll make what you go through seem like nothing and his practical advice will guide you through your everyday living, adding more worth to your days and those around you.
