When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.
Andrew's life is bleak. His rough, uncaring father and overwhelmed mother don't understand their sensitive middle child. In a family with five kids, it's easy for the quiet one to get lost, and Andrew is very quiet. But when he starts fourth grade, he finds a kindred spirit in a teacher.
