The camera has a dark past. The evil that seeped into its mechanisms manifests itself in ways only Jack Hunger and Wayne Olsen can understand.

When Jack discovers a news article that convinces him he's pinpointed the location of the lost Pentax K1000 camera, he alerts Wayne and they head off to Texas.
