Alice Teale is missing. In a town full of secrets, hers was the biggest.
The gripping new thriller from the best-selling author of The Chosen Ones.
As usual, 17-year-old Alice Teale walked out of school at the end of a bright spring day.
She's not been seen since.
Alice was popular and well-liked, and her boyfriend, friends and family are desperate to find her. But when the police start asking questions, it becomes clear that almost everyone has something to hide.
Torn between a host of suspects, Detectives Beth Winter and Lucas Black don't know which way to turn. But then they receive a disturbing package: pages from Alice's precious diary.
Who could have sent them? And have they done with Alice?
"Dark, clever and engrossing." (CL Taylor)
"I was hooked from start to finish." (LJ Ross)
Praise for Howard Linskey: "This story will cause nightmares, it is that good." (Daily Mail)
Ce que les auditeurs disent de Alice Teale Is Missing
not the author's best work
I have enjoyed the previous books from this author, and I was looking forward to enjoying this one. Unfortunately, this must be one his early works, and it shows. The story is not interesting or compelling, the characters boring and predictable. I gave up on this about a quarter of the way through, just not worth the time.
