Description
A whole new world. Well, the framework. Surely nothing will go wrong.
Artorian shrugged off moonfall and war like it was a gentle rain and must now face new trials. Specifically: life in the world created by the Dungeon Core, Cal. Unfortunately, Cal has only put together the most bare-bones of systems.
He's no stranger to solving near impossible problems; how difficult could it be to smooth out the slew of angry Mages with bitter rivalries, uncountable hidden secrets, a complete inability to cultivate, and a Dungeon creating messes at full speed? One way or another, it is up to Artorian to pick up the pieces. He’s ready to roll up his sleeves and administrate.
There are some very serious holes in this world, and the old academic is determined to fix them.

well....
I've enjoyed these books so far but while this one was fun, it lacked direction like the past books have had. I will listen to the next one but if it's like this one I might not finish. Overall though I have enjoyed this series.

something out of a fever dream.
The entire story was weird and convoluted. like a bunch of ideas that the writer had throughout their other series all thrown together.

Not as Good as First 4
Something changed. This book felt more like a world building journal than a story.

Engaging but felt a bit all over the place
I enjoyed this book but it didn’t really feel like there was any plot development for the characters. This kind of makes sense since they are all essentially stuck in limbo as far as the story is concerned but it felt like the book could have either been half as long or should have moved things forward more.
I loved the prior books in the series, this one isn’t quite as good.

awesome
Absolutely wonderful! The incredible world building keeps getting better and better and is as always remarkably well displayed. The writing/prose is beautifully well done, this writing team seems to be constantly improving and just when you think theyve peaked they release another well written story. Artorian is the grandfather you always wanted yet still so mischievous and clever as a fox. His antics are hilarious and his view on the world around him and how he solves his problems thought inspiring. The sprinkling of philosophy even more so. The characters really come alive as you read these stories and are well defined, their interactions seem organic and believable. This story will keep you interested and hungry for more so dig in! I cant wait to see what is next.
travis performs incredibly in this installment. his vocal range is incredible, the characters easily identified by their voice and tone. love this pairing of writers and narrator.

Skip it
I love these books. This one is easily the worst entry, full of filler. It's like they forgot you need an antagonist. There's no great struggle, lots of time skipping and overall it felt pointless. I kept waiting for it to get somewhere and then it ended. They recycled loads of old tropes from previous books and in the end it felt stale. I sincerely hope the next one gets somewhere and has a bad guy or a struggle of any kind to overcome. Playing in a soul space for 8 hours does not a plot make

Filler?
Seems like this book could've been one chapter in the NEXT one, where something actually happens

Boring
Loved the other books in this series. This addition doesn’t add much. Could have been wrapped up in a few chapters not worth it’s own full book

The bridge we needed.
First I will start by saying the last line made no sense to me as I thought all of Artorians loved ones were still in stasis and I thought he had come to love and mentor that group of bards. Other than that we got what we needed, we saw how etherium started and how the building blocks were made. It was entirely the right decision to introduce us to the creation of etherium through someone other than Cal or suppose now it's Cale. The story from Cales perspective would of been extraordinarily hard to write right with what we learned here and while I would love a bit more info on the early days maybe just a chapters worth per dungeon born I can see why we don't get it. Trust me if you love the divine dungeon series and the complitonist chronicles you need Artorians archive in its entirety.

Don't love this book
At first I was happy to hear again from Cal and what's happened inside his world, cause I like the main series. But this is a big disappointment. It not because this book is all about Artorian an his love law. It's because every other character I have nown so far, have changed, to fit better in the story. They became all little children, just that grandfather can help them out with a huge. Dale is wailing about having no close friend, while his friends are in stasis and somehow this is a book about love without mentioning what happened between Dale and Minia. This would be a challenge you couldn't solve with some fortune cookie mottos.
This book is not a complete failure, there's just to much lost potential.

Deterioration of Artorians story
I really liked this series (and also the Divine Dungeon series) but sadly this book is just not up to it. There is no real development, the story jumps all over the place without a consistent plotline and lots of stuff doesn't make sense. Also the authors try too much to bring the world into a computer game universe by setting up nonsensical rules which might have been okay if it wouldn't feel forced.

Great story, hard to follow on audio
I love this series and would recommend it to anyone to read. As an audiobook I found this one a little bit complicated to follow. But might only be me. Anyway, looking forward for the next one (to read).
