Matthew S. Barnes was born in Greenville, NC in 1970. His early childhood was filled with a fascination of ghost stories and things of that nature. As he grew up, his interests changed to sports and martial arts and the workings of the human body, along with an intense infatuation with all things religious or spiritual. After receiving degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry from North Carolina State University he went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from Life Chiropractic College in 1997. Since receiving his degree in chiropractic, he has moved on to study Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, along with other systems of health care. Along the way, he has picked up more interests, including a few that he believes were transformative for him. These are the topics he has begun to write about and offer to the public.
