A trusted English friend among many Amish in Western PA, I want to share with you about these wonderful people I've come to love. We live in a terribly fast paced world and people are longing for simplicity. We need to get back to what's important; faith, family and friends.
The Amish Knitting Circle was birthed when Trestle Press contacted Suzanne Woods Fisher to write an Amish serial. Suzanne graciously referred them to me. Thank you Suzanne!
Being in a knitting circle myself, and seeing how women open up about their joys and problems, inspired me to write this series. The six women in the Amish Knitting Circle all have problems relevant to women today, and I hope readers will learn how problems are faces the Amish way, in community, confronting problems instead of ignoring them, and so much more.

In my spare time I enjoy birding, photography, knitting, watching BBC Period Drama's and spending time with my husband and four grown "kids", who are now my BFF's ;)

Être dans un cercle à tricoter moi-même, et de voir comment les femmes ouvrent sur leurs joies et leurs problèmes, m'a inspiré à écrire cette série. Les six femmes dans le cercle de tricot Amish ont tous des problèmes pertinents pour les femmes d'aujourd'hui, et j'espère que les lecteurs apprendront comment les problèmes sont les visages de la façon Amish, en communauté, confrontés à des problèmes au lieu de les ignorer, et bien plus encore.
