Gerri Phillips grew up in a middle-class family and experienced an interesting childhood in Michigan, United States. Gerri had everything, almost, even though Gerri achieved many honors including membership in the National Honor Society and was named the recipient of the John Philip Sousa Award. And Gerri worked in the high school library and aspired to author a book one day. After graduating from high school, Gerri Phillips decided to embark on higher learning, to achieve more in life! Gerri attended the University of Michigan-Flint in search of an education to find her name's worth. Gerri began a manuscript Project Generation X: Classified. Gerri obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and was inducted into Beta Alpha Psi, a prestigious accounting fraternity. Gerri counted and Gerri has continued to count every day! Gerri Phillips married and changed her name to Gerri Redmond. Gerri Redmond owned Gerri's Gourmet Cheesecake restaurant and gourmet bakery. Gerri's Gourmet Cheesecake was a gourmet baked goods supplier for Sam's Club, Walmart, Trader Joe's, Westborn Market, and several upscale restaurants. Gerri Redmond submitted a screenplay, My Boyfriend My Dog, to compete in the Academy Nicholl Fellowship Program associated with the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Gerri Redmond worked professionally in Finance , Audit, IT Audit, IT Internal Control, IT Risk Management & External Audit, Written and Published Corporate IT Standards & Controls (for the Ford Motor Company), IT Internal Audit, and Marketing Strategy at some of the largest global companies in the world: Ford Motor Company, Deloitte & Touche, PWC, KPMG, EDS, Pentair, Daimler Chrysler, MBUSA, Fox 66, ISACA, and CISA Stop.
