Hunger, and the desperation that often comes with it, can drive one to do many things, most of which usually lead to unfortunate outcomes. Which is what happened to me one day while out scavenging for food in the kitchen - her kitchen, that is. And this certainly led me to meet a rather grisly end.
It had been the wonderful scent of soup which proved a temptation too enticing to pass up. One that had me leaning out over a precipice to admire the steaming bowl far below me. Far too engrossed with daydreaming about what could never be to notice just how tenuous my handholds were.
An oversight that soon had me getting far closer to her lunch than I'd ever expected. And ended up introducing me to something I never thought could have given me the greatest satisfaction in death.
