Next year, Mariah will be the dorm mother of the infamous sorority Phi Beta Pi. If she can survive her vacation....
Mariah didn’t want to visit her mother. Part of the reason was her mother’s new house, an allegedly haunted house previously owned by a serial killer. Another reason was her new family: She didn’t want (or need) a new father or brother, and resented them for invading her life. The final reason was how different her mother seemed since getting married, almost as if she was a different person entirely.
She didn’t want to visit, but she finally did.
When she learned that her stepfather was a decent guy, and that her new stepbrother was a sinfully attractive bonafide rock star, things started looking up for the young collegiate.
