My name is Brent, and I'm the proud, new owner of Rootwood Manor. Sure, it's a rundown mansion in the middle of nowhere... but that makes it the perfect place for my magical lair. Ever since the System came to Earth I've aspired to be a powerful wizard! Of course, difficulties crop up. I’ve got to learn to master my new magic, pay down my mortgage, and raise money for the manor’s repair. There’s also dealing with my creepy neighbors, escaping murderous ghosts, and preventing a blood ritual that could spell the end of the world.

Ever since the System invaded Earth, I had dreamt of becoming a powerful wizard. Sure, the manor I picked as my lair was a rundown, haunted dump, and a crazy cult had tried to murder me, but it all worked out in the end. I even picked up a few house guests–a sexy ghost, a Drow blacksmith, and a tricksy Arachne scholar We are settling into our new normal—home repairs, researching the dark past of my hometown, and delving into frigid dungeons—when we discover a thief draining mana from my lair. They’re threatening everything I built.

With the advent of the System, I might have been able to make my lifelong dream of becoming a mighty wizard and owning a mystical lair come true, but it hasn’t been easy. Between murderous cults, power-hunger adventurers, and now a missing cornerstone, I’ve had my work cut out for me. Finding what was stolen will require me to delve deep into the secrets of my hometown, including the enigmatic Order of Stone. But with a spidery scholar, a talented blacksmith, and my ghostly familiar by my side, we’ll get to the bottom of the mystery.

I’ve got a few side hustles opening up, rent income is steady, and wedding bells are in the air. But now, some jerk who calls him Damnation’s Architect is trying to ruin everything. He’s been conspiring for centuries to destroy my home and bring about the apocalypse. It’s up to me and my brides-to-be to save the day.
