The Soul of India is a historical fiction on post-colonial India. The beings of the mid-world are the demi-gods, the fairies, dwarves, the tree, and animal spirits that animate nature. Humans have lost sight of the inner and higher subtle worlds. They call these natural beings "supernatural" creatures. They have stopped listening to the words of these beings, and so, miss out on a lot of wisdom.
