Welcome to the Social Justice PolitiCast, a weekly recap recap/prep session for local Sacramento government at the City and County levels. We're with you every week to keep you up to date on what was discussed, who voted for what, what's coming up, and how you can get involved and make your voice heard. Social Justice Politicorps values civic engagement by and for community members. We’re recruiting folxs in Sacramento to help us recap meetings and promote social justice happenings. No experience needed- we'll provide recaps and support.

Providing and distributing programming of interest to residents that will inform, educate, and enlighten, as well as encourage participation in government services, activities, and decision-making. Expanding citizen awareness of government and its decision-making processes by exposing citizens to live and tape delayed government meetings. Enhancing existing public information materials and use cable television as a public information tool. Providing information about programs and services offered by government departments, agencies, boards, commissions, and government-supported agencies.

Sacramento County is proud to announce the launch of ”County Conversations: Sac County Podcast.” This monthly podcast series aims to provide listeners with an engaging and transparent look into the County’s operations, programs, and the individuals who lead them. With a commitment to showcasing the human side of County governance, ”County Conversations” will feature in-depth interviews with County leaders and discussions about various programs. Through these conversations, listeners will gain valuable insights into the County’s efforts to serve its residents effectively.
