Thresholds is an exploration on heart intelligence, thresholds in language, us, liminal spaces, sea and earth. A story of remembrance of what daily is excavated within us that holds Truth, Love, Service, Humility and can build from it replacing crumbling mental structures that never fully witness how we are. It contains focus words of old irish and light language for threshold crossing and a threshold song of light words each to be held with pure intent.

In this sacred journey across the golden silence of snow and sky, a young child wanders from his village to the foot of the great mountain—not to find God, but to listen where God remembers Himself through children. Beneath fluttering prayer flags and the shadow of Mount Kailash, Auren begins to ask the questions no one ever dared to voice aloud: "Where was I before my name? Why do stars sing when I sleep?” “Is God someone I must meet—or someone I must remember?"

My poetry is about catching a glimpse of a doorway to another world, there is a sense of a spiritual yearning to know that place and to connect with it. It lies beneath or throughout our world and pulling it into concrete form is not an easy task but it is a gift to me when it happens. It creates something I love. I touch this world in landscape and in nature and sometimes in a particular place like in the Rock of Dunamase. If you have travelled in Ireland, you will know some of these landscapes and their temperaments well.
