Such images may not match the popular conception of serial killers, but there are indeed killers who fit this profile.

In my books, I don’t gloss over the facts, regardless of how disgusting they may be. I try to give my listeners a clear and accurate description on just how demented the killers really were. I do my best not to leave anything out. The stories included in these books are not for the squeamish.

When it comes to things that grip us with fear, the mind usually looks to the supernatural experiences that know no explanation. The truth is, yet again, stranger and more sinister than fiction. For the true monsters do not reside in the recesses of our minds, but in the shadows of dimly lit sidewalks, blind corners, and even - most menacingly - in the eyes of the seemingly innocent.
