Originally published in 1891, it may be difficult for modern readers to accept that there was still a relatively strong belief in vampires, in what might usually seem like an age of blossoming spiritual enlightenment.

Manage the risks of being highly sensitive and turn empathy into your superpower. Other people love you for being so understanding and helpful when it comes to their problems. You are a great listener and you know that something is going on before the person in front of you gets a chance to share what's on their mind. You fall under the category of empaths and your connection with others comes to a point where you experience other people's pain as much as they do.
