Your inner being wants you to listen to them... and until you do, you're cut off from the peace, love, and fulfillment you deserve. Right now, you’re living in your default self. Ever since you were a little child, you have been constructing the patterns that govern your life, some of them taught, some of them developed to protect you in situations that have long since passed. Your inner child still carries wounds, many of which you’re not even aware of, and your sense of self is built around those wounds and the patterns you created to carry yourself through life with them.

Letters to Grandma: Poems from the Other Side of ChildhoodSome gifts become treasured memories. This is one of them. When you were young, Grandma was simply the person who made you feel safe — open arms, warm kitchens, every visit somehow feeling like home. Only later do you understand the countless ways she quietly loved your family: the traditions she created, the sacrifices she made, the wisdom she passed down without ever asking for anything in return.

Some things can only be understood from the other side. You didn't see it then—the exhaustion behind the steadiness, the love behind the worry, the sacrifice tucked inside every ordinary day. You were too young, too busy, too close to notice. But you're older now. And somewhere along the way, without anyone announcing it, you began to understand your mother differently.

Some things can only be understood from the other side. You didn't see it then—the exhaustion behind the patience, the love behind the silence, the sacrifice tucked inside an ordinary Tuesday. You were too young, too busy, too close to notice. But you're older now. And somewhere along the way, without anyone announcing it, you began to understand your father differently.

Some words were never meant to be spoken. Some letters were written but never sent, folded away in the quiet corners of time. Still, they linger. In the hush before dawn, in the spaces between footsteps, in the salt-laced wind that moves through empty rooms. This book is not a collection of answers, nor a search for closure. It is a meditation on what remains—on the echoes of voices we can no longer hear, on the weight of things left behind, on the way absence shapes us as much as presence does.
