Hear a rare recording from 1939 of Charles A. Lindbergh speaking out against American involvement in Foreign Wars. He states that the Americans should not be asked to fight in foreign countries, but to focus on defense of the United States. Among other things, Lindbergh says: "The doctrine that we must enter the wars of Europe, in order to defend America, will be fatal to our Nation, if we follow it. When men are called upon to fight, and to die, for their country, there must not be even the remotest question of foreign influence involved."

Yuri Bezmenov (1939-January 5, 1993), was a Soviet journalist for RIA Novosti and a former KGB informant who defected to Canada. After being assigned to a station in India, Bezmenov eventually grew to love the people and the culture of India. At the same time, he began to resent the KGB-sanctioned repression of intellectuals who dissented from Moscow's policies and he decided to defect to the West. Bezmenov is best remembered for his anti-communist lectures and books published in the 1980s under the alias of Tomas David Schuman.

Marcus Garvey (August 17, 1887 - June 10, 1940) was a charismatic Jamaican-born political leader, publisher, journalist, entrepreneur, and orator. He organized the Universal Negro Improvement Association and African Communities League (UNIA-ACL) and acted as its President-General. In 1916, he moved to New York City where his prominence grew. By 1919, he was considered to be the “Black Moses,” and he claimed a following of over two million people.

On October 22, 1962, President John F. Kennedy gave a televised address informing the American public that the Soviet Union had installed missiles in Cuba. Kennedy announced a US naval blockade around the island to prevent further delivery of such weapons, essentially declaring that any missile launched from Cuba against the Western Hemisphere would be considered an attack by the Soviet Union, and would prompt a full US retaliatory response. Kennedy demanded the removal of the missiles from Cuba and warned of serious consequences if the Soviets did not comply.
