History is the most boring subject in school. Don’t believe me? Ask any student. Or read the lead story in Newsweek March 28 and April 4, 2011: “How to Get Smart Again”. If we want to make history a quality subject we have to make it relevant and interesting. What we are going to need are books that offer a fresh perspective on why history is important. What we need are books that are understandable, entertaining, and educational. In a nutshell, books like Who Really Cares What Happened on March 3, 1903?
