Brought to you by Penguin. Exquisitely written, sublimely fraught and erotically charged, How to Be Somebody Else is an uncoming of age in New York City Spring 2015, New York. On the surface Dylan has achieved the impossible - a life in New York, eight years of making this stick. And yet it is...

Now 18, twins Ace and Walid Wales are grown men. Born to the billionaire Banks Wales, it quickly becomes obvious that paradise is not heaven on Earth for Ace when he feels the pressure of his overbearing father. After a brutal incident on their private island, Banks applies pressure which sends Ace’s already volatile behavior out of control. To make matters worse, the youngest generation, Blakeslee, Riot, Bolt, and Patrick, are taking notice, and it’s obvious if things aren’t reigned in, he will eventually spoil the bunch.

After successfully fleeing Mexico, Ace “Cabello” Wales makes it back to the States for two reasons. First, to reunite with the love of his life, Arbella. And secondly to make his father, Banks Wales, pay for selling him into slavery. Since the details of Ace’s insidious plan are sealed, we get glimpses of the treachery he has in store after he visits Aliyah, his twin brother’s baby mother, and Sydney, the mother of a disowned Wales’ child who happens to be his son.
