In this captivating novella from the early 1900s, an unhappy wife escapes her marriage of convenience for a passionate romance with another man. They flee to the sprawling Dakota prairie to build a new life together, where hope and excitement seem to flourish. However, their idyllic retreat is soon disrupted when the ex-husband unexpectedly reappears. A surprisingly modern tale, infused with theatrical elements, from the posthumous collection of Lillibridge short stories, *A Breath of Prairie*, published in 1911.

The Arcadia Valley Theatre Guild (Arcadia Valley, Missouri) began as a dream for the valley to have a community theatre organization where people of all ages could participate and engage in quality theatre productions. In 2012, that dream became a reality and we were able to launch The Guild with its first production "The 39 Steps." Since that time, we have produced a variety of shows in a variety of venues. "Copper Beeches" is the 18th production of The Guild, and we have many more dreams for the future. Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ArcadiaValleyTheatreGuild Hosted on Acast...
