"We are all broken in the places where the pages fold. But a page that cannot fold can never show a city." In the crushing, industrial reality of the Pop-Up Expanse, existence is measured by the tautness of a thread and the unforgiving precision of the crease. Every horizon is bound by a geometric fold; every sky is a panoramic span of sagged wool choked by the suffocating Lint-Mist. For Latus, a double-knit snowflake wool rabbit whose left ear is unspooling down to its cold brass skeleton, life is a slow countdown toward stasis.
