Ladies and gentlemen, part 2 is officially here!!! You guys have been asking and we've delivered. We are once again joined by a friend, a UCT radio host, and a familiar voice behind various UCT productions, she goes by Kamogelo Maponya. In the previous episode we had a in-depth discussion about the influence of family and religion on Kamo's identity. During the episode she highlights the education culture in her family, her evolution from being raised Christian to choosing Christ for herself, dealing with the stigma of coming from a divorced family, and so much more. In this episode, there's a shift in focus to the influence of relationships, culture and society. She opens up about the impact of surface level friendships in comparison to deep, meaningful ones. She touches on the societal implications of growing up as a girl, and her willingness to learn about her culture despite not growing up culturally rooted.
