À propos de ce contenu audio

Hey, Wait is a podcast about what happens when you stop reacting from old patterns—and start responding from what's actually true. Because those two little words—"Hey, wait"—can change what comes next for you. Hosted by leading somatic coach, educator and author Jay Moon Fields, each episode brings real, unpolished conversations with people who know their stuff but keep it human—exploring what it takes to come home to yourself when it matters most. If you're navigating conflict, change, or just trying to show up with more self-worth in all that you do—you're in the right place.2025 Développement personnel Réussite personnelle

    • You're Allowed to do Less - Jay Moon Fields
      Dec 4 2025

I have a feeling it would probably land as truth for you if I said to you, Sweetie, you're doing too much.

Almost every client I've worked with lately has been struggling with this—the desire to slow down paired with an almost panicky inability to actually do it. I've felt it myself over the past few months, as I've been forced into a much slower pace and lessened capacity due to some unexpected health issues.

In this week's solo episode of Hey, Wait, I share:

      — How your nervous system makes slowing down feel harder than it should
      — The social and relational conditioning that keeps you constantly striving instead of resting
      — How to recognize the part of you shaped by both your wiring and your conditioning
      — Three steps to help you move through the panic that can arise when you try to do less—so you can finally take care of yourself

This is my last episode for the 2025 season, and I want to thank you so much for being here! If there was a single episode that really touched you, or if you loved every one of them and you listened every Thursday when they came out, or you found yourself telling your friends about it or doing something differently because of something you heard on this podcast–

I have a very simple way that you could be in reciprocity with me for that. It's a website called buymeacoffee.com and it's a place where you can symbolically buy me a coffee as a thank you if you feel called.
      Go here: https://buymeacoffee.com/jaymoonfields
If you've been wanting a simple way to honor what you receive here, this is one that is very deeply appreciated.

    • Protecting and Replenishing Your Energy with Dr Maria Furlano | Episode #30
      Nov 20 2025

If you're a highly sensitive person, you move through life differently than other people. You know what it's like to feel other people's emotions as if they're your own. To struggle to sort out what's your energy and what's someone else's. To walk through the world feeling like your nerves live on the outside of your skin.

Today's guest, Dr. Maria Furlano, has spent her entire career helping highly sensitive people interact with the world in ways that don't drain them. She is a Spiritual Intuitive and Consciousness Mentor specializing in Eastern Energetic Medicine and nervous system regulation. She is a Physician of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture (MTOM, L.Ac.) and a Doctor of Medical Qigong (DMQ, China), and she is one of the most gifted Medical Qigong teachers.

If you're feeling anything but radiant, give yourself the gift of this episode. Dr. Maria will make you feel understood, supported, and steadied—and she shares a beautiful, easy practice called The Falling Leaf that will help settle your nervous system and lift your energy.

In this episode, Jay and Dr. Furlano explore:

► What Medical Qi Gong actually is and how it can support your health and well-being ►Energetic hygiene (protection, purging, fortifying) that helps you be more vital and healthier in your relationships
►How to set an energetic boundary (and it's not about imagining a big bubble of white light around yourself)
►How to handle the energetic vampires in your life so they don't suck you dry
►Why getting small by contracting your energy doesn't keep you safe—and what actually does ►How to simply and effectively call your energy back when it's scattered or running ahead of you
