Welcome to Yet Another Retro Podcast (YARP)!
A family-friendly podcast where we cover a retro video game from beginning to end, discussing the plot, items, characters, and much more.
We define a retro video game as one that was made 20+ years ago on any major platform, including PC. It's harrowing to think that we're not talking about NES, Game Boy, SNES.... but Playstation 2 and XBox have already met retro status! We plan to cover a wide range of platforms and genres, so we have a LOT that we can talk about!
In this first episode, we cover Super Mario RPG. A turn-based JRPG developed by Square Enix for the Super Nintendo, released in 1996 (and recently re-made for the Switch).
