À propos de ce contenu audio

In this episode, we explore Exodus 22:16–31 and discover that God cares deeply about the everyday details of our lives. These laws show that holiness is not limited to worship practices but extends into relationships, finances, speech, generosity, and how we treat the vulnerable. At the heart of the passage is our tendency to drift toward self-interest—especially when no one is watching or when obedience feels costly.

The passage exposes that drift while revealing the character of God as compassionate, just, and attentive to the cries of the oppressed. Ultimately, we see how Jesus fulfills what this law requires. Where we exploit, delay obedience, or forget God, Christ remains faithful. He gives Himself fully, welcomes the outsider, and bears the judgment our unfaithfulness deserves. Because of Him, holiness becomes not an impossible demand, but a grace-shaped life that flows from what He has already done for us.
