This week, Edgar wakes up to a marriage proposal happening right outside his window. Live band, a brand new car, a diamond ring, the whole thing. But the real story is not the proposal. It is what saved the relationship two years earlier, after a fight so bad the police got involved. One folded letter. No envelope. Just a few words that did what six years of conversation could not.

That discovery sends Edgar to his desk, his pen, and his microphone with one mission: write a letter to a woman he has not met yet.

What follows is 120 dates, eight years, three terrible first drafts, a generator emergency next door, and a neighbour named Cordelia who has the biggest mouth in Lagos and absolutely no shame about it.

But underneath all of that is the most honest thing Edgar has said on this podcast. A letter to his future partner. Written live, in front of all of you. And he meant every word.
