    • 10. 'We're Between Hugs' - When Did Austin Last Touch His Dad?
      Jan 12 2026

Have you read Harry Lawyer and the Lawyer of Azkaban?

In this episode we ask Austin Hampshire when he last touched his dad. Austin rolls back the tape on his dad touches to the emotional time he missed the deadline to hand in his dissertation, and we also discuss how Austin keeps in dad touch, explore why his dad texts him like a work colleague, and dive into the only book Austin has ever seen his dad read.

We also (dad)touch on dads’ obsession with the news, Austin’s best (and worst) dad jokes, and find out the one beloved celebrity his dad despises.

    • 9. 'Cuck Festival' - Austin's Father Figures
      Jan 5 2026

How many ducks does your dad weigh?

Welcome back to Who’s Your Daddy…Really? - the ONLY podcast brave enough to ask the question: “When did you last touch your dad?”

In Episode 9 we welcome our very first guest - writer, comedian, and former Cardiff University Comedy Society President Austin Hampshire.

In this first instalment of our chat with Austin we dig into his father figures, from Austin’s complicated emotional relationship with the LEGO Star Wars games, to the impressive power of his dad’s arsenal of firearms.

We also chat about our wild weekend at Big Love Festival while Joe recounts the time he absolutely died at a Father’s Day comedy night - with his own dad sitting in the audience.

      Dec 29 2025

Which character from the Bible would you want as a dad?

Welcome back to Who’s Your Daddy… Really? for Part 3 of our Christmas Specials: this time for some Gooch Gabble - the episode that lives in that strange festive limbo between Christmas Day and New Year, where nothing is real, trousers don’t fit, and no one knows what day it is.

In this episode, your hosts Joe Dehuai and Max Jones attempt to make sense of the Gooch of 2025 — the gooey, lawless stretch of time where routines collapse and dads truly come into their own. We discuss what day it even is (and why Max thinks you’re an idiot if you don’t know), settle the important question of what the best cracker is on the cheeseboard, analyse what your nativity play casting says about you, and decide which character from the Bible we’d most want to have as a dad.

Plus we chat about the time things got a bit out of hand when Joe saw his parents at a local Wetherspoons in front of South Wales comedy royalty.

It’s a loose-limbed, post-Christmas ramble through dads, religion, cheese logistics and festive confusion — the perfect companion for leftovers, low batteries, and that creeping sense you should probably go back to work soon.

Stay horizontal, keep snacking, and join us for Part 3 of our Christmas descent.
