Most women don’t realise they’re in survival mode. They think they’re tired, overwhelmed, “not coping”, or failing at life. But survival mode is not a mindset problem. It’s a biological state of protection that impacts your nervous system, hormones, emotions, decisions, relationships, and even your sense of self.
In today’s episode, I’m sharing how survival mode showed up in my life, how it led to burnout and chronic shutdown, how long I didn’t know it was there, and what changed once I finally recognised it. Awareness is the doorway out. Once you can name it, you get to choose what to do with it.
