Sources of Strength PodcastEpisode #3 - #WhatHelpsUs - Anger

On this episode of the Sources of Strength Podcast, our hosts David and Ms. Tonelli discuss one of the big three emotions: anger. They interview Ms. Riley, the principal of Central High School regarding common causes of student anger, as well as ways to manage anger and to ensure that students are being heard. This episode is part of the #WhatHelpsUs campaign.

Sources of Strength is a best practice youth suicide prevention project that harnesses the power of peer social networks to encourage help seeking, change unhealthy norms, and break codes of silence and stigma around mental health. The Sources of Strength Podcast focuses on our resilience and the strengths we all have in our lives. It seeks to spread messages of hope, help, and strength throughout our school and community.

If you, a friend, or a loved one is experiencing a mental health crisis, help is available. Contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-237-TALK (8255) and suicidepreventionlifeline.org or the Crisis Textline by texting HOME to 741741.
