I want to strip skincare right down to what you actually need every day, not for anti-aging, but for active longevity. Not a routine built around trends or panic-buying ten serums, but one built the way a good hotel director plans maintenance: calmly, strategically, and with a clear idea of what keeps the building running.
In this episode I walk through the four essential pillars of a longevity routine: a gentle cleanser that cleans without stripping, an antioxidant serum that acts as your skin's firefighters and energy support, a good moisturizer that works like smart climate control, and a situational sunscreen wardrobe that respects where and how you actually live. I also take on the elephant in the beauty aisle (retinol) and explain honestly why, as a cosmetic safety expert, I see daily strong retinol as anti-aging at any cost rather than true longevity. By the end, my hope is that you can look at your bathroom shelf and tell the difference between what genuinely supports your skin's long-term function and what is just pretty decoration in the lobby.
