  • Ep 43. The Switch vs. The Dial | Why Consistency Beats Intensity when Building Healthy Habits
    Mar 2 2026

Do you feel like you’re always starting over - on Monday, next month, after the holidays - because life keeps knocking you off track with your food, exercise, quiet time, or healthy habits? In this episode I’m sharing the mindset shift that is changing everything for me: moving from the switch (all-or-nothing, perfection or failure) to the dial (grace-filled consistency in real life).

We talk about why so many Christian women feel stuck in the cycle of dieting, body image frustration, and “I’ll try again tomorrow” - and why it’s not a discipline problem. It’s a capacity and willingness gap. I’ll walk you through how to stay consistent with your health goals, your spiritual rhythms, and your habits even when your energy is low, your schedule is full, your hormones are all over the place, or life simply doesn’t go to plan.

This is a conversation about overcoming perfectionism, healing your relationship with food and your body, building sustainable healthy habits, and learning how to show up with self-compassion instead of guilt and shame. You’ll hear practical, real-life examples of what consistency actually looks like in a busy season - from workouts to meals to your time with God - and why “all or something” is the key to lasting transformation.

If you’re a woman who loves Jesus, wants to honour God with your body, is tired of the all-or-nothing mindset, and is ready for a more sustainable, grace-based approach to health, this episode will meet you right where you are and help you move forward.

Because transformation doesn’t come from intensity - it comes from consistent, honest, values-aligned participation in your real life.

  • Ep 42. Why do I Keep Choosing Things that don’t Satisfy? | Disordered Desires + Being Filled by God
    Feb 23 2026

This week I came across a social media post that said the story of Eden is really about controlling women and making hunger a moral failure - and I couldn’t just scroll past. In this episode I respond gently but honestly, because while I share the deep desire for women to be free from shame around food and their bodies, I don’t believe that interpretation tells the truth about God, the Bible, or us. I unpack what was actually happening in the Garden, why eating was never the problem, and how misdiagnosing the issue means we miss the real path to healing.

We talk about soul-level hunger, disordered desire, and why our battles with food, approval, comfort, and control are often revealing a deeper longing to be filled by God. I also share a simple way to recognise where our desires have shifted out of order, and the gentle invitation the Lord gives us - not to stop wanting, but to find true satisfaction in Him.

  • Ep 41. Why am I so Unmotivated? | 10 Hidden Causes of Low Motivation + The Power of His Presence
    Feb 16 2026

Ever caught yourself saying, “I just have no motivation lately”? Same. After returning from an incredible overseas trip, I expected to slide back into my rhythms feeling refreshed. Instead, everything felt heavy. Time with God felt hard. Workouts felt like a grind. Even simple tasks felt bigger than they should. So I started asking a better question. What if low motivation isn’t the real problem?

In this episode, I unpack ten potential layers underneath or causes of low motivation - from emotional fatigue and fear to shame, grief, hormones, unmet needs, and disconnection. Because what we often label as laziness is usually something far more human… and far more tender.

I also share what the Holy Spirit gently revealed to me about the dry soil of my own heart, and how Deuteronomy 32:2 reframed everything. Sometimes we don’t need more pressure. We need rain - even dew!

If you’ve been feeling stuck, flat, or frustrated with yourself, this episode will help you move from self-criticism to curiosity - and toward true wellbeing: spiritually, emotionally, and physically.
