  • Acts 10 | The God of All Nations | Acts | Welcome Church, Woking
    Jun 29 2026

What does it take to build a community where everyone truly feels like they belong, and no one is left feeling like an outsider?

Steve continues our series by diving into Acts 10 - a pivotal moment where God radically upends human expectations and shatters long-standing cultural barriers. Through the encounter between Peter and Cornelius, we see that the gospel isn't meant to be confined to our familiar comforts; it is a message meant for all nations. As a church, our approach is this: We will love and serve all the people God puts in front of us.

To live this out, we are challenged to move past our comfort zones and instead walk in active humility, awareness, and faith. Steve encourages us to look up, step across the room, build new bridges, and intentionally protect the beautiful, diverse unity that Jesus already won for us on the cross.

  • Father's Day 2026 | Adrian Holloway | Welcome Church, Woking
    Jun 21 2026
In this moving Father's Day message, guest speaker Adrian Holloway explores one of the most famous stories Jesus ever told: the Parable of the Prodigal Son. Through personal stories and reflections from his former career in sports journalism, Adrian unpacks the radical nature of the Father’s love and the profound cost paid by the 'Good Older Brother'—Jesus—to reconcile us to God. This sermon serves as a powerful reminder that no matter how far we’ve wandered, we are deeply loved, accepted, and celebrated by our Heavenly Father.

  • Acts 8 | Saying 'Yes' To Jesus | Welcome Church, Woking
    Jun 7 2026

What do we do when life doesn't go as planned, and we're left wondering if God still cares or if He can still use us?

We continue our Acts series by looking at the life of Philip—an ordinary person without a platform or a grand strategy, who simply learned to say "YES" to Jesus in every season. Whether you find yourself in a season of forming, testing, visible success, surrender, or building a legacy, this message is a powerful reminder that God's purpose for your life unfolds through daily obedience in the small things. We are challenged to move past our own limitations, stop overcomplicating our faith, and instead step into a life of quiet, radical availability to the Holy Spirit right where we are.

  • Acts 6-7 | How does a thriving church sustain momentum? | Welcome Church, Woking
    May 31 2026

What does it look like to live a life of impact when everyday pressures and unexpected trials threaten to overwhelm us?

Guest speaker Simon (Ascot Life Church) joins our Acts series to look at the powerful and sobering story of Stephen in Acts 6–7. We explore how the early church faced everyday tensions not by working harder, but by calling on ordinary people to serve with extraordinary, Holy Spirit power. Through Stephen’s life and ultimate sacrifice, we are reminded that we are all called to be God’s messengers—speaking His truth with grace and holding fast to Jesus in our own moments of suffering. Simon challenges us to move past our own limitations, step into our unique purpose, and actively depend on God’s power for our everyday lives.

  • Acts 4-5 | Shock and Awe | Welcome Church, Woking
    May 24 2026

What happens when the radical beauty of the early church collides with the reality of human hypocrisy?

Christopher continues our Acts series with a powerful message titled Shock and Awe, looking at Acts 4:32–5:11. We explored how God’s grace initially united a diverse community in radical generosity—until hypocrisy threatened to corrupt it from within. Through the sobering story of Ananias and Sapphira, we are reminded that God loves His church too much to let sin compromise it. Christopher challenges us to move past performance and step into a healthy, life-giving fear of the Lord, where true freedom and integrity are found.

  • Acts 3-4 | Courageous Faith | Acts | Welcome Church, Woking
    May 10 2026
Steve took us through Acts 3 and 4, exploring what courageous faith looks like in everyday life. Through Peter and John’s example, we saw the courage to truly see people, to step out in faith, to speak up for Jesus, and to obey God even when it costs us something. But this wasn’t a call to try harder—it was an invitation to depend on the Holy Spirit and walk closely with Jesus. We were reminded that courageous faith is made possible by the Holy Spirit and a relationship with Jesus.
