That's what Daz Collins from Warrior Muay Thai is hoping to help with this summer, as he opens up his business on Loushers Lane for people aged 11-16 to learn Muay Thai, for free.

We speak to Daz about why he's doing this and how he hopes it will allow Warrington's young adults to thrive.

It's been two years since the first Warrington Scoop email went out. But why did it start? And who is behind Warrington's feel-good newsletter?

This month I'm chatting to Mike Payton, the creator and author of the Warrington Scoop.

Mike talks about how a Google algorithm update destroyed his previous web-based businesses, leading him to seek a platform he could fully own.

The newsletter has since expanded to include social media channels and this podcast, reaching nearly 15,000 subscribers with curated events, feel-good stories, and local trivia.

If you've ever wondered who the person behind the Warrington Scoop is, this episode is for you.

Men's mental health support is available in Warrington because it's needed.

Around 1 in 8 men experience a common mental health condition such as depression or anxiety. Yet they're often less likely to seek support for mental health concerns compared to women.

In the UK, suicide is the leading cause of death for men under 50, highlighting the urgent need for open conversations and accessible support.

In Warrington there are several support groups and ways to seek help.

We speak to mental health advocate, Lee Payton about his journey, Andy's Man Club and what support is available in our town.

This episode contains talk about suicide ideation.

This month we're chatting to Robert Lester from Warrington Fruit & Veg about why shopping with independent traders could benefit not just your purse but the Warrington economy as a whole.

Plus we're asking whether Warrington is really that bad. Both Charles and Mike chat about how Warrington is a nice place to live and Robert gives his thoughts too.

And to round it all off we have our What's On Guide for February.
