Hi guys! Welcome to Episode 8 of Finance Chat with Maryam.
In this episode, I sit down with one of my friends, Fadly. We talk about what he studied in school and how it's so different from what he does during his 9-5. It was also exciting to hear how he transitioned into tech. Financially, Fadly has faced some hurdles and in this episode we talk about how he navigated them - from debts and dodgy investments to weird purchases and more!
When moving to the Netherlands, He also had to mentally adjust as he began paying bills and doing all of this while juggling black tax. This was an interesting discussion and it was wholesome catching up with Fadly to pick his brains!
