    🔥 THE MIC HAS CONSEQUENCES.

What happens when identity becomes political, outrage becomes profitable, and disagreement starts feeling like hatred?

On this episode of W.A.R. Network, Stryker sits down with podcast host, producer, and cultural commentator Zach Randles-Friedman for a wide-ranging conversation about queer culture, LGBTQ+ identity, politics, media, cancel culture, social media, transgender issues, comedy, loneliness, dating, representation, and the growing difficulty of simply talking to people who see the world differently.

Zach is the creator and host of Everything & Anything…and a Bit Gay and host of Listen Up Girl, where he explores personal stories, culture, current events, politics, and LGBTQ+ issues.

But this isn’t a conversation built around everybody agreeing.

    It’s about asking harder questions.

Can identity labels liberate us while also dividing us?

    Can advocacy remain intellectually fair?

Has outrage become a business model?

Can someone disagree with you politically without hating you?

Where does accountability end and cancel culture begin?

Can comedy still cross uncomfortable lines?

Can LGBTQ+ advocates make room for legitimate disagreement?

Can people with completely opposing political beliefs actually sit across from each other, listen, and learn something?

And maybe the biggest question of all:

Who controls the story when everybody believes they’re the one being misunderstood?

    No shouting match.

    No political team jerseys.

No algorithm deciding who the villain is.

Just two people willing to go into uncomfortable territory and have the conversation.

THE WAR OF COMMUNICATION: TRAUMA, ANXIETY, GRIEF & WHY WE KEEP MISUNDERSTANDING EACH OTHER | Dr. Patricia Timerman | W.A.R. Network

Why do people who love each other end up hurting each other? Why do conversations turn into arguments? And how much of what we hear is shaped by trauma, fear, and wounds we haven’t healed?

In this powerful episode of W.A.R. Network, Stryker sits down with psychotherapist, author, and creator of the IAP Model (Intention, Action, Perception), Dr. Patricia Timerman, for an unfiltered conversation about the psychology of communication, emotional pain, relationships, and recovery.

We explore why two people can experience the same conversation completely differently, how childhood trauma influences adult relationships, and why the intentions behind our words don’t always match their emotional impact.

    IN THIS EPISODE, WE DISCUSS:

The IAP Model: Intention, Action, and Perception.
Why communication breaks down in relationships.
How childhood trauma shapes adult behavior.
Why men often struggle to express emotional pain.
    Anxiety, overthinking, and emotional exhaustion.
How trauma affects the nervous system.
Suicide grief, survivor guilt, and unanswered questions.
Why people crave love but fear emotional vulnerability.
    Immigration, displacement, and psychological resilience.
    Modern loneliness and emotional disconnection.
What genuine healing looks like beyond social media.

Dr. Timerman also shares insights from her book, Why Are We Fighting?: Actionable Strategies for Effective Communication, examining how greater self-awareness and understanding can help us navigate difficult conversations.

This isn’t just a conversation about learning how to communicate better.

It’s about understanding what happens beneath the words, recognizing the pain we bring into our relationships, and discovering how to stop turning communication into combat.

If you’ve ever felt misunderstood, struggled to express what you’re feeling, experienced trauma, or wondered why the people closest to you sometimes hurt you the most, this conversation is for you.

What happens when you’re still functioning on the outside, but anxiety, burnout, and emotional exhaustion are quietly taking over your life?

On this episode of W.A.R. Network, Stryker sits down with registered psychotherapist, internationally certified EMDR therapist, expressive art consultant and educator, keynote speaker, and author Elke Scholz for a powerful conversation about anxiety, trauma, burnout, creativity, energy, and learning how to love your life again.

With more than 35 years of experience helping people navigate anxiety, panic, depression, burnout, and emotional exhaustion, Elke brings both professional expertise and personal understanding to the conversation. She openly manages her own anxiety and calls herself an “Anxiety Warrior,” making this discussion about more than theory. It’s about living through it.

Stryker and Elke dive into what anxiety actually feels like, why being functional doesn’t necessarily mean you’re okay, the difference between being tired and truly burned out, and the hidden habits, relationships, thoughts, and pressures that can quietly drain your energy.

They also explore trauma and EMDR, how unresolved experiences can continue affecting the mind and body, why highly functioning people can still struggle beneath the surface, and how creativity can become a powerful tool for expression and healing.

Elke also shares insight from her book Loving Your Life and discusses practical ways people can begin listening to themselves, protecting their energy, setting healthier boundaries, reconnecting with passion, and moving from simply surviving life toward actually experiencing it.

    In this conversation:

    • Understanding anxiety beyond panic attacks

    • The warning signs of emotional burnout

    • Why functioning is not the same as healing

    • Trauma, the nervous system, and EMDR

    • Becoming “energy rich” instead of emotionally drained

    • Creativity and expressive arts as healing tools

    • Fear versus intuition

    • Boundaries and protecting your mental health

    • Learning how to listen to yourself

    • Practical strategies for calming anxiety

    • What it really means to become an Anxiety Warrior

    • How to start loving your life again

If you’ve been exhausted, overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally drained, or simply wondering when life stopped feeling like something you actually enjoy, this conversation is for you.

  • ROCK BOTTOM HAS A BASEMENT: JESSIE TYLRE WILLIAMS ON ADDICTION, TRAUMA & SURVIVING HELL
    Aug 28 2026

    Join W.A.R. Founding Members

Rock bottom isn’t always the bottom.

    Sometimes there’s a basement.

On this episode of W.A.R. Network, Stryker sits down with Jessie Tylre Williams for a raw conversation about addiction, childhood trauma, abusive relationships, PTSD, sobriety, survival, and what happens when the substances disappear but the pain is still there.

Jessie survived more than 25 years of addiction, childhood sexual abuse, violent relationships, and two brushes with death before rebuilding her life.

Now 17 years sober, she has transformed those experiences into purpose.

Jessie is the author of Rising Above Hell and has spent years advocating for veterans and first responders living with PTSD across Canada. At 50, she also made another radical decision: starting over and building a new life in Mexico.

But this conversation isn’t about creating a perfect recovery story.

It’s about what addiction was actually trying to numb.

What childhood trauma can carry into adulthood.

Why getting sober doesn’t automatically end the war.

What happens when survival mode becomes your identity.

And how someone rebuilds after believing they’ve gone too far to ever come back.

Jessie and Stryker also get personal about PTSD, shame, identity, writing Rising Above Hell, the emotional reality of long-term recovery, and what she would say to the person sitting alone tonight who believes they are beyond saving.

    No polished recovery clichés.

    No pretending healing is easy.

Just two people talking about what it means to survive hell and still find a reason to keep going.

Because rock bottom may have a basement...

but it doesn’t have to become your grave.

LIFE AFTER DEATH | Hollyanna Vellichor

What happens when the life you knew disappears and you’re forced to discover who you really are?

Hollyanna Vellichor joins Stryker on W.A.R. Network for a powerful conversation about losing everything, escaping a high-control religious environment, trauma, chronic pain, identity, resilience, nervous system regulation, and rebuilding a life from the ground up.

Hollyanna opens up about the extraordinary losses that reshaped her life and the journey that followed. She also shares the thinking behind Bio Coding™, her approach to body awareness and nervous system regulation, while Stryker challenges the conversation with questions about trauma, science, skepticism, traditional medicine, and what recovery really means.

At the heart of this episode is a powerful idea:

Sometimes losing the life you knew can become the beginning of the life you were meant to build.

This isn't just a conversation about surviving.

It's about what happens after survival.

It's about finding strength in loss, discovering what you're capable of when you're thrown into the fire, and realizing that the end of one life can become the beginning of another.

What happens when childhood trauma follows you into adulthood?

In this powerful episode of W.A.R. Network, Shannon Grace shares her journey from surviving childhood abuse and building a successful corporate career to becoming The Graceful Healer. Together, we explore how unresolved trauma can shape identity, relationships, and the nervous system, and why true healing often begins by confronting what we've spent years avoiding.

We discuss Reiki, somatic healing, Pure Bioenergy, emotional suppression, breathwork, end-of-life care, and the growing world of holistic healing. We also tackle the difficult questions surrounding science, skepticism, ethics, evidence, and where alternative healing should complement—not replace—traditional medical and mental health care.
