  • Career 180: Becoming a Lawyer with Sabrina Spencer (Allard Law Alum)

    In today's episode, Student Alumni Council members Jiayi Li and Will Oxtoby speak with Peter A. Allard School of Law Alum, Sabrina Spencer, about her journey entering the field of law. Sabrina completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Alberta in Economic and German Language and Literature. She went on to pursue a masters degree in Environmental Studies at York University, and finally obtained her Juris Doctor in Law at UBC’s Allard Law school.


    At the time of recording this episode, she is an Associate Lawyer at Fasken, practicing in areas of Environmental, Climate, and Indigenous law with a focus on promotion of reconciliation and addressing climate change. Recognized as one of “Business in Vancouver’s” Forty Under 40 in 2022, she has many experiences to share!
