À propos de ce contenu audio
In this powerful episode of Dial Up Intuition, I’m joined by Nicole Kerr—award-winning health expert, speaker, and co-author of Eating the Rainbow: Lifelong Nutritional Wellness—Without Lies, Hype, or Calculus, and We Are Deathless. Nicole has spent more than three decades helping people improve their health and well-being through practical, realistic choices, appearing on outlets such as CNN, PBS, CBS, ABC, and the Food Network.
But Nicole’s work is also deeply personal.
As a 19-year-old cadet at the U.S. Air Force Academy, she experienced a traumatic accident that led to a near-death experience and a long, difficult road of recovery that included multiple surgeries and years of physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.
In our conversation, Nicole opens up about the reality of trauma—how it affects the body, mind, and soul—and why healing is often a complex, nonlinear process. We talk about the role of counseling, the importance of speaking about our experiences, and how moments of profound hardship can eventually become sources of strength and compassion.
Nicole also shares how her own near-death experience shaped her understanding of trauma and growth, and how the very challenges that once felt overwhelming can ultimately help us support and uplift others on their healing journeys.
If you’ve ever struggled with trauma—your own or someone you love—this episode offers insight, hope, and a reminder that healing is possible, even when the path is difficult.
