    • Episode 44: Faith Hedgepeth
      Feb 1 2026

In the early fall of 2012, 19-year-old Faith Hedgepeth was enjoying her newfound independence and buckling down to continue her collegiate career at UNC-Chapel Hill. Despite seeming to have endless possibilities and the whole world at her fingertips, Faith's future was forever robbed from her when she was brutally attacked and killed in her apartment. With a disturbing note left near her body, a dead end when it came to a seemingly obvious suspect, and plenty of questions, Faith's case was an example of a rollercoaster investigation that soon went cold. That was until 2021, when a suspect who at no time was remotely on the radar of law enforcement was arrested. Join us this week as we discuss the case of Faith Hedgepeth!

    • Episode 43: Plum Island
      Jan 13 2026

In 1954, the looming threat of Lyme's and other animals diseases were at the top of the USDA's list of concerns. On the search to find a laboratory to quarantine animals and conduct research, they settled on an old military fort located on Plum Island, off the coast of Long Island, New York. Thus, the infamous "Plum Island Research Facility" was established. Though the U.S. government claims it was used just for medical and scientific research, some mysterious, mutant animals have washed ashore, with many believing the origin of the animals was Plum Island, spurring a slew of conspiracy theories. That begs the question: was the now-defunct Plum Island really just a facility to study animal disease, or was there more, potentially sinister, things going on behind closed doors? Tune in this week as we discuss the conspiracy theories surrounding the Plum Island Research Facility!

    • Episode 42: The Perplexing Disappearance of the Sodder Children
      Dec 25 2025

80 years ago to the day of us recording this episode, on the night of Christmas Eve, 1945, the Sodder family went to bed after enjoying a late night celebrating the much-anticipated upcoming Christmas holiday. But, only hours after retiring to their respective rooms, the house would go up in flames. Though the mother, Jennie, father, George, and three of their children escaped with their lives, five of their children and siblings were still in the home. When the fire finally went out 45 minutes later, all that was left was the shell of a once happy family home, but without the missing children. Join us as we discuss the still-unsolved case of the Sodder Children!
