Bom dia querides 🌼
I am pleased to share the second episode of a series where I'll speak about records, artists, labels,... without limitations of genres and topics.
This is called Tropismes.
✺
Influenced by the antinovel by Nathalie Sarraute, a tropism is biologically speaking the growth or turning movement of an organism, usually a plant, in response to an environmental stimulus. In Sarraute's own word and definition, it is an "interior movement that precede and prepare our words and actions, at the limits of our consciousness."

This second episode is about Duval Timothy, and more specifically about his track 'Slave', on the album Help, released in 2020. A multi-layered composition, where contracts in the record industry meet AI and slavery - all this in a piece without proper lyrics - fascinating!
