Jesus’ parable of the vineyard reminds us that everything we have has been entrusted to us by God: our time, talents, resources, relationships, and even the church itself. In the first message of The Measure of a Disciple, Rev. Doug de Graffenried challenges us to rethink stewardship not simply as what we give, but as how we care for everything God has placed in our hands.

Everything is just passing through. The question is: what are we doing with what God has entrusted to us?

Jesus invites everyone to His table to experience true grace. This message explores the call of Matthew from the Gospel of Matthew, where Jesus dines with tax collectors and sinners. Through a story of a family Sunday lunch disrupted by spilled iced tea, Pastor Doug illustrates how love and mercy triumph over rigid expectations. God meets us in our messiness, offering forgiveness instead of judgment.

Discover how to break free from the tight circles of guilt and embrace the vastness of God's unconditional love. Are you ready to leave your burdens behind and pull up a chair to this table? Join us to receive this invitation to personal transformation.
