Finally. We see ourselves in a character onscreen and shockingly it's not the Ben Affleck character in MALLRATS (for obvious legal, ethical and terrible music taste reason in this film.) Jason Lee leads Kevin Smith's initially much maligned and later celebrated sophomore (and delightfully sophomoric) flick as we close out our trilogy on the trouble with third spaces in this case with a man who is obsessed with superhero sex organs. As we said at the top, it's nice to see ourselves on screen for once. Enjoy!

This episode is gross and it's not just us (blame Vincent D'Onofrio) as we talk Tarsem Singh's THE CELL where Jennifer Lopez attempts to help troubled youth (strike one) and Vince Vaughn gets serious (strike two) and did we mention Mr. D'Onofrio's piercings in this flick?? But it looks cool. The movie. Not the piercings. Enjoy!

Your old movie podcast hosts (and hosting an AUDIO ONLY podcast at that!) put on their readers to try and make sense of the recent Youtube to horror directing trend as they give you a timely episode on BACKROOMS... just as it is being re-released with another Youtube short added onto it for an extra run at theatrical dollars! Old-fashioned hucksterism at the movies that we love and hope you do too. Enjoy!
