  • One Day at a Time, Becomes One Hour at a Time

    When it comes to finding our meaning and purpose in life, the secret is to focus all our attention and intention on the present moment, and the best way of achieving this, is to focus on this hour right hear and now.

    Please God, you are in your bedroom, withdrawing from the world to maintain your sanity.

    decide in this moment, you are going to let og of th past and the unknown future, just to concentrate on you and your surroundings for the next hour.

    grab a pen and paper

    write out everything that needs to be addressed in your bedroom

    you need a clean bed, this is your past safe place and you to keep it as well as you can, this means cleaning the bed sheets and pillow cases

    maybe opening a window and leaving fresh air in, might e a good idea

    pick up all the dirty clothes off the floor

    hoover the floor

    tidy your dressing table, your book shelves.

    tidy your wardrobe,

    doing all your toiletries; toilet, wash hands, brush teeth, brush hair, a hot shower with soap and shampoo, a cold shower

    change your clothes

    clean the windows and mirrors.

    having made your list, notice how taking this action changes up your energy

    now number in order of most important your list

    1 open a window and let some fresh air in, you'll need to use something to hold the bedroom door ajar to the air can flow out

    2. your bed, wash the sheets, pillow cases and quilt cover. bring them down to the kitchen, if your mum is there, let her know you are doing this yourself and can she direct you how to use the machine.

    when its up and running check how long it will take and then figure out what other jobs might you get done in that time

    3. pick up all your clothes and separate the whites from the colors, these will be your next washes

    4-12 are all the things you need to do in the bathroom to clean yourself up.

    As you keep busy, you'll notice you are not depressed or anxious because you are focused on what to do next.

    and you carry on with your list

    By the end of the day, you will realize

    If you keep busy in the present, anxiety and depression lose their power over us.

    You can do this

    It's not rocket science

    You are in the best place right now.

    You are in the middle of all time, halfway between the past and the unknown future.

    Your life can only be found and activated fully in the present

  • The Hippocratic Oath in Action

    the mental health industry in a recent study admitted that 39% of all people diagnosed with Mental Disorders were MISDIAGNOSED!

    This means that 390 million adults and 120 million children have been misdiagnosed with mental disorders.

    What shocks me, is there is no blow-out about these figures?

    Where is the condemnation?

    where is the Hippocratic Oath in Action?

    Where is the Care of Duty towards all these people who were misdiagnosed?

    have they been recognized?

    have they been informed of the error?

    Have they been offered a different solution?

    If we are to accept that they were misdiagnosed and do not have a mental disorder, what is the mental health industry and its professionals doing to assist these poor unfortunates to fine a better solution to heal the hole in the soul of the individual?

    Surely, there is some responsibility on the mental health industry to offer some solution that to these people they have wronged?

    Is there such a thing as a Hippocratic Oath for mental health professionals?

    Is there a Duty of Care?

    I believe that these folks are suffering with a broken spirit that requires a spiritual solution, to heal the hole in their soul, to mend their broken spirit.

    The past is none of our business.

    Because we have been touched by a loss of innocence, we can never go back to the person we were before the event.

    Our history is no longer our story, it is now the property of our younger self, our inner child if you will; it becomes his-story or her-story, but no longer our history.
