Season 4 moves on. Malik Chunn is an incredibly talented dancer/actor. Caught him on the Celebrity Silhouette. Found out he's much more than that. Performing is in his blood. He's done it all from dancing, performing and teaching. Love talking to artists who are 100% all-in on their craft. Great conversation.

Season four of 'Total Schmidt Show" starts off where season three ended, with the other half of "Radio Recall"

Recorded a few weeks earlier. I ran into Aaron on the Celebrity Silhouette. He and Jenna Rubaii make up the show "Radio Recall" which I mistakenly call a band in the intro. Let's ignore that mistake. OK? I'm not rerecording the intro.

Aaron was the lead in "Jesus Christ Superstar" where he met Jenna. They then went on to create "Radio Recall." He has an amazing, powerful voice. he's a seasoned performer who has done it all. A fantastic talent that was great to watch and talk too. Always a pleasure to talk to a professional live performer who has crafted multiple shows and layers to what they do. It should be inspiring to all live performers.

Ran into Jenna on the Celebrity Silhouette in December. She performs in duo called "Radio recall" with Aaron Lavigne. The two of them are guest entertainers that travel over the world to show ships pretty much everything. It's a show remembering some of the rock and roll songs that they grew up listening to and were influenced by. They also do a couple songs from a production of "Jesus Christ Superstar" they toured with. Both of them are amazing performers. They've only been doing this a year. They're fantastic. They were great together. I saw them a couple of times.

Jenna does a really cool arrangement of "The Grinch." Which we talk about in detail. She has a video for the Grinch is really amazing. It's great to see you can see it in the below video as well. Jenny was an amazing talent a great chat. I suggest you check her out everywhere.

Listen to episode 3TSS148 closley. Titou is either from Kentucky or France. I can't figure it out.

I'm kidding. 100% from France. Lives in Vegas. Much like many performers (and myself pretty soon) Titou's show is great. Magician, great with the crowd. Can be extremely sarcastic. Wlaks that line perfectly. It's really fun to watch. It takes a talented and disciplined live perfrormer to walk that "edge" line at a "Family-Friendly" show. Titou doezs just that. Thats' one of my favorite acts to watch. Delicate balance. Kids, adults, grandparents all laughing at once. He was fun to watch. Great to chat with. Even more fun to hang with. I love my job man.

    Comedy Comin' at 'cha!!.

Johns a Chicago holiday tradition. Born and raised in the Chicago area, John has been coming home to play Zanies every Thanksgiving for the last forty years. Johns one of those comics everybody from Chicago knows. Dozens of acts have been influenced by him and hit the stage themselves. From "Star Search" to his own sitcom "The Good Life" John has covered some ground. I've worked with him on and of ships dozens of times over the years. Both Chicago Bears and White Sox fans... John and I have become good friends over the years. In fact I was standing in his living room the last time the Bears were in the Superbowl. I'll never forget Devon Hester running the opening kick back. One of the happiest moments of my life... followed by the Rex Grossman led Bears muddling through to an ugly loss to Peyton Manning and the Colts.

    Yet, we're still friends.

Hey, Thanks for listening! Hit me back, or find me on all socials @MrLennySchmidt

    Back to Vegas, sort of...

Comedian Luca Ferro. From Chicago, Bridgeport... Hey, I'm from there!! Similar upbringing. We both had parents that used chores as punishment.. brought back some memories. We actually met at Zanies in Chicago a while ago. We worked together at Brad Garretts in Las Vegas. Funny dude. Got to hang pretty much the whole week. He lives in NY now. Great talk about stand-up. Working the crowd, reading the room, expectations, and the mental pre-show prep. I talk a lot about younger comics. How their motivation and commitment isn't what it used to be when I was younger. Luca is NOT that guy. He works at it. Love to see a younger comic really make the effort to be a good comic. Not just mail it in and depend on clicks. Gives me hope about the future of stand-up. God I'm old. i sound like Yoda.

    "Good comic, he is..."
