À propos de ce contenu audio
Welcome to BRAVE, a podcast from the Townsville Community Information Centre.
Tina Elliott's cattle property outside Winton was one of those devastated during the 2019 monsoon event. Despite losing 90% of their herd, Tina and her family persevered and focused on rebuilding. In this episode, she shares the tribulations and determination that make up those experiences, as well as talking about her ongoing role as a Councillor within the remote shire.
Tina's story is just one of the many from our local communities that we hope will inspire you.
BRAVE is jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA).
This series is produced by Damien Lawardorn.
