    May 28 2026

After nearly nine months away from the mic, I’m returning to This Life Without Limits with a renewed sense of clarity, steadiness, and devotion to the work.

This episode marks six years since I first launched the podcast from my dining room table in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. It also marks episode 20 — a moment that feels less like a milestone and more like a recommitment.

In this solo episode, I reflect on the evolution of the podcast, my time away from media, and the central questions that continue to shape this work: How do we cultivate awareness and presence? How do we create a life of depth and meaning? How do we heal in body, mind, heart, spirit, and relationship? And how do we become more available to serve the world?

I also share some personal updates from the last six months of my cancer journey, including rising NavDx numbers, a March PET/CT that revealed an isolated tumor in my left pelvic bone, a week of SBRT radiation in late April, and beginning Keytruda immunotherapy this week.

This is not only a medical update. It is also a reflection on grief, fear, nervous system regulation, gratitude, prayer, embodiment, and the ongoing invitation to be wholly transformed by the experiences life places before us.

    Inside this episode:

    • Returning to the podcast after a long creative and media break
    • Reflecting on six years of This Life Without Limits
    • Navigating grief, fear, and comparison during cancer
    • Understanding the latest chapter of my cancer treatment
    • Receiving SBRT and beginning Keytruda immunotherapy
    • Practicing gratitude, prayer, presence, and non-attachment
    • Exploring cancer as an initiation and embodiment opportunity
    • Choosing to go long and live fully

Whether you are navigating illness, uncertainty, transition, grief, healing, or simply trying to live with more honesty and presence, I hope this episode offers some reflection, resonance, and encouragement.

  • TLWL019 // Shifting Gears: In My Cancer Journey & In Life
    Sep 19 2025

A year after diagnosis, Weston shares a candid update on his cancer journey and the personal threshold he’s crossing now. In this episode: surgery and recovery, a clean PET scan alongside rising blood markers, and a thoughtful choice about next steps. He unpacks a summer teaching—be a channel, not a vessel—and outlines the grounded practices supporting his body and spirit: plant‑forward food, movement and mobility, meditation and prayer, and a handful of immune‑supportive supplements (this is personal experience, not medical advice).

September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, and Weston is organizing pop‑up rides in the DC area to support the Pablove Foundation, raising funds for research and quality‑of‑life programs for kids and families. If you feel called to join, share, or contribute, thank you.

  • TLWL018 // What Cancer Is Teaching Me About Grace, Grit, and the Will to Heal
    May 20 2025

After six months away from the mic, Weston returns to share the raw, unfiltered story of his cancer recovery journey—and everything it’s taught him about grace, resilience, and surrender.

In this deeply personal solo episode, Weston reflects on the physical and emotional toll of chemotherapy and radiation, including the experience of being hospitalized with severe malnutrition, receiving a feeding tube, and enduring a powerful blood transfusion reaction. He also shares the heartbreak of saying goodbye to his beloved dog, Luna, and the surprising spiritual awakening that followed.

But this story isn’t just about struggle—it’s about what emerges after the storm.

Weston speaks candidly about learning to receive support, finding joy in everyday milestones, and reconnecting with his deeper purpose. From playing guitar in the hospital to launching a young men’s group at his son’s school, this episode is a powerful reminder that healing isn’t just physical—it’s relational, emotional, and spiritual.

    Inside this episode:

    • Navigating the hardest weeks of cancer treatment
    • Learning to receive help and soften expectations
    • Facing grief and guilt with compassion
    • Reclaiming purpose and self-trust
    • Reflecting on what a journey like this is really asking of us

Whether you’re in treatment, recovery, a caregiver, or simply seeking clarity on how to cope in the midst of chaos, this episode offers reflection, resonance, and a deep reminder: you’re not alone.
