À propos de ce contenu audio
Last year I visited Pretoria during jacaranda season, when the entire city transforms into a tunnel of purple blossoms. The streets looked almost magical. But when I returned later, the flowers were gone and everything had returned to normal.
That simple moment became a powerful reminder about the nature of this world.
In this episode, we reflect on how the beauty of the jacaranda bloom mirrors the life of this dunya, captivating, attractive, but ultimately temporary. Drawing on verses from the Qur’an, including Surah Al-Hadid and Surah Al-‘Asr, we explore the deeper lesson behind the rise and fall of the seasons, and what it teaches us about time, priorities, and what truly lasts.
A Ramadan reflection on the fleeting nature of this world and the eternal value of what we do sincerely for Allah.
