  • A Year Later with Nyambura K |EP 56
    Dec 14 2025

Almost a year later, guest Yourz truly also known as Nyambura K is back on the Worst Friends Podcast and this episode goes places we didn’t expect.

We open up a raw conversation about why many men lose their virginity to older women, questioning how and why this pattern has been normalized in our generation. Nyambura then takes us through her toughest year yet, revealing how she battled illness in and out of hospital, including a terrifying surgery where interns operated on her a story she had kept to herself to avoid sympathy or negative energy.

She also opens up about returning to law school, her short but chaotic attachment experience, and why she walked away after a magistrate’s harsh treatment barely a week in.

Viterlis brings comic relief with another Stunna story uncovering a bizarre December bucket list involving Umoja, Old flings, situationships, and a return to his childhood home in Kitengela. He also reveals how Stunna stayed in contact with his girls even after his phone was confiscated.

The episode takes a serious turn as we discuss GBV, trauma bonding, and psychological manipulation. Nyambura shares a chilling true-life encounter with a violent couple that escalated from public scenes to stabbing incidents leaving us questioning why victims stay, even when the danger is clear.

We wrap up with music and movie recommendations.

  • Sikujua Alicia keys ikiblow up ! Ft 4 Mr frank white
    Dec 7 2025

Welcome to Episode 56 of The Worst Friends Podcast featuring the incredibly talented 4Mr Frank White, a bold voice in Kenyan hip hop whose journey from the underground to the mainstream is nothing short of inspiring.

In this episode, Mr Frank White breaks down his music journey, the origin of his stage name, and his creative process in the studio. He takes us back to the exact moment everything changed when his song “Alicia Keys” unexpectedly hit over 200,000 streams without him even realizing it at first. That sudden success came with intense pressure, and it pushed him to work even harder… leading to the birth of his first album, “Definition Ya A real One.” The streets received it well, officially marking his entry into the music game.

He then dives into one of his most iconic projects, “Mziza Kwa Dimanga,” an album that became legendary not only for the music but also for its powerful album cover featuring the late Hon. Raila Odinga. Mr Frank White explains how Raila’s resilience, consistency, and fighting spirit deeply inspired him reflecting the same energy he carries in his music career despite facing different challenges.

Next, he shares how his album “Taigwa Goma” changed everything, transitioning him from being labeled an underground rapper to a mainstream artist. Even before people heard the music, the album cover alone pulled in new audiences, proving just how powerful branding and visual presentation can be.

We also get into his latest EP featuring Mwanaa, a project that pushed him out of his comfort zone. Since Mr Frank White usually records everything by himself, stepping into a collaborative studio session was a big creative shift one that challenged him to become more open, experimental, and intentional with his sound.

He also reveals his unique approach to collaborations:He first creates the track, envisions the perfect artist to fit the vibe, sends it to them, and allows them to respond organically when ready ensuring authenticity, intention, and real creative chemistry in every collaboration.

Towards the end, Mr Frank White opens up about why he proudly represents his hometown, 44 Kahawa West. He explains that for a long time, no artist had boldly come out to represent Kahawa West, and that’s exactly why he chose to carry it in all his music complete with his signature “K” ad-lib and area code shout-out. It’s more than branding for him it’s identity, pride, and purpose.

To wrap it all up, Mr Frank White shares his future goals, his strong desire for more people to discover his work, and his determination to keep growing without losing the truth and resilience that define his sound.
